Pills/Thrills 2013 is a snapshot of the 90s, super bright, wearable but still with signature OTT Claire Inc elements. A little more street than previous collections, it explores the origins of print and branding with a particular focus on favourites - Moschino, Gianni Versace and Kenzo (with a good splattering of Chanel).

 The collection comprises of 88 curated pieces ranging from 90s Kenzo overnight bags & backpacks, Olive Oyl (of Popeye fame) chokers and Chanel silk graffiti twin sets.  Highlights include the iconic combat boots showcased in Gianni Versace’s 1993 collection (worn by Shalom Harlow/Claudia Schiffer & Helena Christensen) and pieces from Versace protégé Franco Moschino’s 1991 defiant Stop the Fashion System range.  Claire Inc Pills, Thrills! is eponymously named after the 1990 Happy Mondays album of which Moschino created a bodycon dress with an uncanny resemblance to the cover design

On March 6 the collection launches in Sydney via an exclusive exhibition for one night only. We are collaborating with incredible Sydney designer Georgia Perry who will be creating a graphic fit out of China Heights Gallery for the night. We also collaborated with award winning Closer Productions to produce a video for the collection.
